both caps and coils are fairly small If you take a close look at your co-axels your putting in the back...the tweeter has a cap attached to it. This is to cut out low frequencies from damaging the tweeter. A coil is a small round puck..about the size of your thumb. Some pro-mobile audio shops may be able to help you. They usually carry these caps and coils seperate..and they are pretty cheap. You only need 1 of each...you shouldnt have to spend more than 10bucks for bothor...go look at a set of high end separates. take a look at the passive crossover. Look for 1 with a see-thru plexi housing...those are caps and coils good luck hope this info helps. PS...once you have this hook up...you'll love your new sound. Also....you'll be amazed...how you music all of a sudden is coming from outside the windshield. Like its coming from on top of the hood. : also, what does it look like? here's my current setup:
: -stock bose headunit powering rear bose speakers. : -amp connected to headunit via speaker wire/rca plug adapter : -front aftmkt speakers & subwoofer powered by amp : amp: 4 channels. channel 1,2 for fronts. bridged channels 3,4 for the sub. : will your recommendation work for this setup? thanks.
